OK, so our first program is for those who want to become teachers in the state of Texas.

So if you want to become a certified teacher in the state of Texas San, I would advise that you look into the Masters of Education and curriculum and instruction with initial certification. The admissions requirement for that is that you must have a confirmed bachelor's degree or resume. Three references. Those references can be from your supervisor, your professors, and you must have a 2.75 GPA.

Have you need to complete an online application?

And he a requires that you've also fell outta EP application In addition to an interview. So you will only get invited to an interview if you meet the GPA requirement.

For international students, you are welcome to apply to this program. We will need your foreign trust transcript evaluation an you also need to come from with that content save you want to teach math. If this applies to anyone. If you want to teach math in your undergrad, you need to have those core content like that you've taken those classes as an undergraduate student and the current the certifications that we offer our.

Easy through six, which means you would see like, do you have an English class? If you take a math class science history, things like that. We also have EC through six bilingual education 7 through 12 certification and the faculty that you would be.

Um, communicating with would be doctor Angie Duran. So if you have any questions about what, uh, what classes, um, prepare me for the for the exam to be certified in this state of Texas, it would be doctor Duran for courses an advising. It will also be her. I will be advising you for the first semester and then from then on doctor Duran will be your advisor.

We also have the Masters of Education and educational administration in that's for professionals who are already a certified teacher, so we will need a teaching certification which means that you have the certification to teach.

Um, a teaching service record, which means that you've been working at this school district for two to three years. You must have a 2.75 GPA. Like I said, three years of teaching experience, you need a bachelors degree resume, three references, and this also requires an EP application and then an invitation for an interview. The faculty that will interview you would be doctor fridge. She has tons of experience as an educational administrator. She's been a principle for.

Fort Bend ISD and she's just full of experience and she's an awesome mentor. So if you know, whenever any of you will apply to this program and you know you do get admitted, I highly recommend that you network with doctor fridge.

The next Masters degree that we offer would be educational diagnostician. An with that we would need a resume, a teacher certification, teaching service record, bashers degree and two to three years of teaching experience. These are for individuals who.

Who working like special education or want to get more involved in in that area? And the faculty that you would be communicating with would be doctor Woodbury.

Also, if you already have a Masters but you want to see just educational diagnostician certification, you can do that as well.

And then we also have other graduate programs in education we do have are Masters of Education and higher education. I actually graduated from that program last year. If you see your saw working at a University and this program is for you, we have the Masters of education in bilingual education and those are for those who are in the with the Spanish speaking population from K through 12.

We have a Masters in education in reading or reading specialists. We also have the principle certification. The alternative certification program, which means that you just want to get certified to become a teacher and you don't want to get that Masters. But at some point if you decide to start off with the ACP but you want to go back and get a Masters, the ACP certification will count towards your Masters of Education. And like I mentioned, the educational diagnostician.

So our certification program they provide you with graduate coursework. They assist you to pass state certification exams, introduce you to school district through fuel work. We have tons of network with Cy Fair. I is DKTISDH ISD. So anyone in the Houston area you? I'm sure you already know what I'm talking about. For international students, there is an option to apply to these districts only if you're doing the Masters of Education with initial certification.

Um, the only districts that do do hire international students would be H. ISD and I believe is a leaf. But I will look more into that if anyone is interested in that.

And obviously they prepare you to become an effective teacher.

So now we're going to move on to our Doctor of Education in special education, so the requirements for that is a 35 application fee. We do require a Masters research paper, so anyone if you, if you wrote a Masters paper, I'm sure you all did. We will need to see that if you don't have a Master Speech Research Paper, you can go ahead and contact me an I can send you a writing prompt.

Um and this is just for us to see your level of writing an Redd. Programs are very competitive and it's a lot of research base.

So yeah, that's how we require Masters Research Paper and we would get any to resume a Masters degree conferred, transcribes an, then you get you are invited for an interview. So for the Doctor of Education and special education it would be doctor Woodbury.

And then we also have the Doctor of Education and Executive Education leadership and that's so this Ed program has two components.

Close who want to become a a Superintendent and with that we will definitely need your teaching certification. You're teaching service. Record your principle certification to qualify to take the Superintendent test. The other route will be for those who are non teachers. Maybe you will work at a private school and you don't have what teacher certification or any professional who who's in higher education or.

Wants to teach at a Community College? This would be the program for you.

Um, and are the requirements are the same and 35 dollars $35 doctor application fee you need to have your confirm Masters degree resume transcripts an also. This requires an interview and I forgot to write the Masters Research Paper an like I said any any research paper that you wrote during your Masters program. We do have a new program. This is only online and this is the Ms in learning technology and design.

Um students of the Masters of Science in learning technology and design can expect a well rounded quality education that will prepare them for a variety of.

Of vocations across many industries. This is a three credit hour hour courses will be offered in eight weeks, providing students the opportunity to complete their degree in their own pays, even as few as four semesters. The good thing about this program? It's online an all your text books are digital there online, so you don't have to purchase any books.

Like I said, we have amazing networks with all these school districts. For Ben, Katy Cy, Fair Spring branch ISD.

An you know because we have a great network with these districts, are our students. Do you get hired very quickly right after graduation? We also have 100% retention or rehire rate for HBO ACP students. For the past two years. And then we also have 100% pass rate on state PPR exams. Since we began in 2006. So what this means anyone that's pursuing a Masters? Anything with the Masters of Education and a certification.

Our faculty do take care of you. We do take. They take the time to make sure that you not just passed the classes but passed your exams to get certified in the state of Texas to become a teacher principal certification. And I want to get to a doctor degree. I'm a certified teacher and I have a principle certification.

But I want to get the Superintendent certification as well. Then all your classes will be the same and then we will add a.

Uh, the superintending will prepare you for the Superintendent certification. The other route is, it's, for example, I have a Masters of Education and higher education, and I want to teach Master Master degree courses. Obviously I need a needy. So then I would apply for the Executive Leadership Program, but I will not take the Superintendent route because I'm not in the education field with K through 12 of anything. I'm in like the higher.

Education it's, you know, the edian exact leadership is also for anyone who you know who wants to work in a Community College research based for Harris County Department of Education.

Amira, yes, they have started interviews uh, for some for summer we are going to have another one on April 6 so you're definitely on my list for that one.

Pamela, I'm so if you're interested in the Y DD but don't want to do the Superintendent certification, that's fine. That's just an option for our students to pursue.

Miss Vera, you cannot apply for the bilingual education because you need to be a certified teacher, but I encourage you to do. The me begins with the initial certification or the ACP with the bilingual supplementals.

Uh, mainly we want to see your right team, so I would advise that if you don't have your Masters Research Paper, I will send you a proman.

You can work on that and they just want to see the quality of writing because it is research base an with the EDDU you begin your dissertation at the end of the of your first year. So if say you start in the fall, you'll take fall classes, spring classes and then you take summer is in during the summer that you would start your dissertation so Redd programs have become competitive just because.

Most University start their dissertations towards the end, so you take all these classes and in your dissertation comes at the end, whereas ours. We like to start you the end of your first year so our faculty can work with you throughout the next two years.

Courtney, I will get back to you. I'm not sure about that, but we just never know.

It could probably be a possibility. Sometimes our programs are hybrid, it just depends on the semester. I know some of my class it was residential based on campus and I know some of my classes were on line.

We do have rounds of interviews for Redd programs and the next round of interviews should be probably the first week of April, so we're always going to have on a Tuesday or Wednesday between 11:00 AM and 11:00 AM to.

335 and the Y DD app. Interviews are about an hour. It depends on what program you're looking into.

So for the eating executive leadership, uhm, it would be doctor Beavers who will be interviewing you.

Ovary DD interviews. It takes about a week for up to get a decision.

For the Masters of education, uh, we probably takes about three to five days to get back to you.
